it’s been an interesting few weeks… so much has happened, so much is going to (possibly) happen, and so much has yet to happen. i haven’t been able to really sit and have time to myself. i think i have been going out every night these past two weeks, it is exhausting. i need to refuel. but here is my life so far…

• met josh oppa via he almost ran nana over with a bike, but a great friendship was formed.
• thanks to josh oppa, i met hyun soo-ssi/oppa who is the manager/a&r of fantastic drugstore along with some other bands in the k-indie scene and we formed a great friendship right off the bat- deciding to work on projects together, make a label, and etc.
• saturday; i was invited to fantastic drugstore’s showcase which included special and surprise guest eastern sidekick and black bag. after the show we all went to get dinner together with some of the executives and ceo of the label. this also lead to free jisan rock festival tickets (artist staff passes!), free meal (fans and label, thank you for feeding me.), and basically going over ideas for oppa blog and just future projects.
• i was also really surprised the executives knew who i was before i even introduced myself, i am really flattered that hyun soo-ssi spoke of me in any capacity especially such a nice one. basically, this weekend was great networking and stuff.

i really have lucked out lately with all the opportunities i’ve gotten and the people i’ve met. i never thought i would get to hang out with bands i liked here in korea yet, it seemed to have happened and… it’s continuing. but great things are coming ahead… like k-indie interview series and things. it’s gonna be epic, meetings with the bands to plan the concepts and what not is coming up.

i feel so exhausted lately, but it feels worth it.
